With Easter and Mother’s Day coming up soon, this Autumn be prepared to have fun! Come play in our nursery and create your own sustainable Cloche from a buffet of choices. When: Sunday 30th March | 10.30 - 12.30pm Create your own cloche - A cloche originated in 1600 in France, and was made there & in Italy, to protect young seedlings from variable weather. The original knob on top was removed as the sun burnt strongly through it to the young plant. I have 3 of these on my entry table signifying my indoor protected “garden” that can be changed for each season. I also use them in groupings on my dining table. All flowers dried will be provided and you’re welcome to forage for smaller seed boxes and flowers as we tour the nursery prior. You can choose your own combinations of textures and colors - but warning, it’s addictive! Once you’ve learnt the skills, then create more for gifts. Bring along friends and family too, this workshop is great for most ages from 8 years on. Included is a glass of bubbles and berries to celebrate your creations.
